In 1994, Erik D. Lee, D.C. graduated Cleveland Chiropractic College, Los Angeles, and attained his Doctorate in Chiropractic. He is licensed by the State (California) Board of Chiropractic Examiners and certified by The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dr. Lee is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and The American Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
In 1998, Dr. Lee opened Riverside Health Center in Toluca Lake, California. Riverside Health Center was conceived as a multi-specialty health center providing alternative health care offering chiropractic, acupuncture, Pilates, and massage. Since then, we've gone through many changes, however we still use a team approach to medicine, in which specialists from many different areas consult together for the benefit of the patient.
Dr. Lee's philosophy on healing: "The healing system can usually do what it needs to do to restore balance. But when the healing system is a little overwhelmed, it sometimes needs a little kick start. That's where I come in. Most doctors think that doctors cure patients. And the patients think that as well. The problem with that is it takes responsibility from the patient. I think people cure themselves. Period. My philosophy is give your immune system a boost so that it can take over and finish the job."
Erik D. Lee, D.C. provides safe, gentle care blending advanced soft-tissue techniques, gentle chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy modalities such as exercise/rehab therapy, interferential electro-therapy, trigger point therapy, ultrasound, superficial heat, and cryotherapy.
